Bought this bag in red a few weeks ago and have enjoyed taking it everywhere! I don’t have a wide variety of color in my wardrobe, and this provides a great POP of color, along with a unique, funky vibe without being “out there”.It’s fair trade, and comes with info about the artisans and company. What’s not to like?Functionally, it solves problems I didn’t realize I had:The shaping to sit on my hip/waist means I’m not walking leaning over with giant bag sticking out my side. The size is perfect for all my basics (phone, some makeup, wallet, and pen) with room left over for my giant key ring. (I used to carry a giant bag with everything I might ever need in it, so I’m thrilled at how much room there is, knowing also I don’t need to cram it full of stuff.)The rigid body of the bag means it stands up in its own - never in danger of tumping over or spilling contents, even if you forget to zip it. It’s easy to clean the body too - mostly made of straw-like grass that wipes easily.Love the style and function. Definitely recommend!I am thoroughly enjoying this purse. If you like your purse to hold its shape these bags from Baskets of Cambodia do the trick. They hold a lot of things, they hold up well to lots of use, the straps make it really versatile.I’m disappointed. I purchased this purse specifically because it’s a crossbody style and it’s not. There are only shoulder straps included.
