My pouch came in today and I immediately examined it and it seems to be quite well made. I saw that others had problems with theirs, but I didn't experience any issues.The material seems to be a ballistic nylon on the sides with a nicer weave that most ballistic nylon bags. The other material feels like a nice glove leather. In fact it's almost identical to some leather items I have, so I don't understand the negative opinions on it. Feels and looks very nice. I would like to see a better description of the materials on the Amazon page for it. The description is very vague.The one I was provided for evaluation is black. I would like to see some of the other colors, because they look like they would be more attractive.The stitching is quite good and the hardware is good quality. The clips and rings for the shoulder strap is an antiqued brass on mine and feels very substantial. I don't expect problems with them accidentally opening. The clips swivel so that the strap won't get twisted up. Some reviewers had problems with the zippers, but they operate very smoothly on mine. They appear to be quite strong.I intend to use this for my urban sketching. It is perfect for what I needed. I can fit my sketchbook in one pocket and the other pocket holds my travel watercolor set along with my pencils and pens. Exactly what I needed.The only negative that I see is that the price seems a bit high. Especially considering the skimpy description. If the material that feels like leather actually is leather, that would justify the price, so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt and did not knock off a star.
